Everything You Need to Know

Embarking on a tour with Catalpa Charters promises an unforgettable experience, blending adventure with the tranquility of the sea.

  • Rockingham is a coastal city located in Western Australia, approximately 40 kilometers south of Perth. Renowned for its pristine beaches and marine adventures, it serves as the departure point for Catalpa Charters.

    • Parking facilities are available near the departure point

    • Arrive 15 mins early 

    • Meeting point Val St jetty adjacent Cruising Yacht Club Rockingham

    • Departure from the end of Val St Jetty look for the sign

    • Usually at a dock or marina close to our operations center

  • Each seat has storage for personal items

    • Sunscreen and sunglasses for UV protection

    • Hat or cap for additional sun protection

    • Refillable/Reusable water bottle to stay hydrated

    • Any medications, make crew aware

    • Camera or smartphone to capture stunning views and wildlife

  • We recommend bringing a warm layer as temperatures can drop on the water.

    • Light, breathable clothing for sunny conditions

    • Windbreaker or jacket for cooler ocean breezes

    • Non-slip footwear (sneakers or boat shoes) for safety aboard

    • Strictly no healed shoes

Important Information for Passengers

Boarding:

Access is via The Cruising Yacht Club, Rockingham jetty, with a 5-step gangway. Please note, this may limit accessibility for some passengers.

Seating:

Our vessel features three tables seating six guests each and one table for two, all with cooler tables for easy access to ice and drinks.

Weather Policy:

Charters run daily unless weather conditions make travel unsafe. In such cases, guests will be contacted to arrange a rebooking.
